Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the new attack in the besieged Gaza Strip would be a concentrated military operation aimed at defeating Hamas, but he has not shown in detail how much of the Enclave territory will be confiscated.
Netanyahu said on Monday in a video message to acquire X’s Hebrew dealing with plans approved by security cabinets to expand the attacks in Gaza, which said the Palestinian population had been moved to Gaza for their own protection.
Israel’s 18-month attack killed more than 52,000 people, including thousands of children, and injured around 120,000.
Netanyahu also said that Israeli soldiers would not go to Gaza and would not retreat once they launched the attack. “Intention is the opposite,” he said. His comments come when Israeli political and military leaders approved plans to expand the attacks in Gaza and take on AIDS on the destroyed, hungry enclave.
Netanya’s cabinet unanimously approved a plan to summon reserves and place Israeli forces for food and other important supplies.
Newswirres reported that an unknown Israeli civil servant was proposed to include conquest and occupation of the entire Gaza Strip.
The extended attack could so far go to confiscate the entire enclave, Reuters reported.
“The plan includes the conquest of the Gaza Strip and the local attitudes to move the Gaza Strip population south,” an AFP news agency source said. Sources added that Netanyahu continues to promote US President Donald Trump’s plans to help Palestinians depart from the enclave voluntarily.
The plan also includes the possibility that Israel will provide humanitarian assistance to Gaza.
According to Jan Egland, head of the Norwegian Refugee Council, this violates humanitarian principles.
“The United Nations, all other international humanitarian organisations, and NGO agencies have said they are part of this idea of the Israeli Cabinet and the Israeli military,” Egrand told Al Jazera.
Egland said the Israeli government would like to militarize, manipulate and politicize help by supporting only several centralized centres in the South, a program in which people are fully functional systems. It will force people to move to get help and it will continue to starve civilians,” he added.
The Israeli government rejected allegations from auxiliary groups that Hungry was pursuing the enclave, but blocked the receipt of all consumables on March 2, 16 days before the attack resumed.
The Times of Israel, citing an unknown Israeli official, said the plan would include international organizations and private security entrepreneurs who have food for families in the Gaza Strip.
According to the outlet, Israeli soldiers will offer external security classes that spend their support to civil contractors and international organizations.
