The man was charged, according to a report from the United States, after a British student nurse was stabbed before Texa was finished. Elizabeth Tamiloa Odunsi, also known as Tamiloa Odunsi, was found dead at her home in Houston on Saturday, April 26th before 4pm local time, reported NBC News Sky’s US partner network.
When they knocked on the door to conduct welfare checks, officials received no response. They saw blood on the concrete terrace in the rear, and entered the apartment, where they found a 23-year-old child with several stab wounds on the kitchen floor.
At the scene of the crime, Odunshi, who was originally from London, was pronounced dead. The man, later identified as roommate Chester Lamar Grant, was found in a bedroom with at least one stab wound and was brought to hospital in critical condition, police said.
On Friday, May 2, the 40-year-old man was taken into custody and charged with killing Odunshi. He is being held at the Harris County Jail in Texas on bonds totaling US$500,000 (approximately £375,000). At the preliminary hearing, the judge said, according to ABC News, that his roommate was involved in the fight for Grant’s cat.
