Paris Saint-Germain has begun talks with Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgium international was on the bench for his side’s six-goal thrashing of Southampton on Saturday and also came on as a late substitute for Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.

Romelu Lukaku’s agent Mino Raiola has held talks with PSG sporting director Leonardo, according to reports in the British media, and has discussed the possibility of a move to the Parc des Princes.

PSG wants Lukaku as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, whose contract expires at the end of the season, and has so far refused to sign a new deal, despite offering him a lucrative contract.

Lukaku joined Chelsea in the summer, scoring only five Premier League goals, and admitted months ago that he would like to leave Stamford Bridge and return to his former club Inter Milan. PSG is ready to pay him a lucrative salary.
