Somali President Hassan Sheikh arrived in London on Sunday, having flown from Washington, the capital of the United States, where he has been on a visit since last week.
Hassan Sheikh will be among the world leaders attending Monday the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, who died on the 8th of this month at Balmoral Castle, at the age of 96.
He wrote a tribute to the Queen in a condolence book at the Somali embassy in London upon his arrival.
The President will return to New York on Tuesday, where he will participate in the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, where he will deliver a speech on the current crisis in Somalia.
The UK is one of the partner countries that provide financial and military support to Somalia and has a base in Baidoa, 250Km northwest of Mogadishu, where it trains soldiers from the SNA.
