The UN Supreme Court has dismissed the case presented by Sudan. In the incident, the United Arab Emirates (VAE) was accused of violating the National Murder Treaty by arming and funding support for paramilitary rebels in Sudan’s deadly civil war.
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) clearly said Monday that authorities are missing to continue the proceedings and to abandon the case.
Both Sudan and the United Arab Emirates are under signatories of the 1948 Genocide Agreement, but the VAE has insight into some of the agreements that grant court allocations under the HAAG.
In March, Sudan asked the ICJ for several orders. This was called a reserve measure, including the United Arab Emirates, and made it all do to kill the killings of the masalite people in Darfur and other crimes.
The United Arab Emirates called for the submission of propaganda stunts, claiming at a hearing last month that the court was not liable. The court approved the Arabian Emirates’ debate on Monday, denying an application for emergency measures in Sudan and ordered a lawsuit to be removed from its files.
According to the verdict summary, the lack of jurisdiction prevents the court of justice from taking over the advantages of Sudan’s claims.
The United Arab Emirates celebrated it as a legal victory.
This decision is a clear and conclusive confirmation of the fact that this case is completely unfounded. The court’s statement that there is no jurisdiction confirms that this case should never be filed,” Liem Ketite, deputy minister of the United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a statement. The facts speak for itself: vae is not responsible for the Sudan conflict. On the contrary, the atrocities committed by fighting political parties are well documented.
In a previous statement, Ketite argued that Vai was not involved in the war.
In a 14-2 year vote, the court charged an application for emergency measures by Sudan to prevent the act of genocide against the masalite tribes, which were the focus of intensive ethnic attacks by the RSF.
Sudan was caught up in a fatal conflict in mid-April 2023, when Khartoum, Khartoum and other regions broke out in the Khartoum capital.
Both Sudan’s rapid support forces and the military were accused of fighting abuse. Vae, a federation of seven Sheikh Doms on the Arabian Peninsula and US allies, was repeatedly accused of arming the RSF, but she still fought for it.
