Incredulous Remain activists have been left seething after they were pulled over by the police and forced to peel off their ‘b***ocks to Brexit‘ car sticker.
Peter Cook, was riding in the campaign group’s bright yellow Mini on Sunday when the driver was ordered to park on the hard shoulder of the M25 in Brentwood, Essex, by an officer.
He claims that a ‘very aggressive’ constable demanded they expunge the sweary slogans plastering the vehicle.

But their nationwide tour was temporarily halted yesterday when the police swooped in after spotting the rude messaging.
They tweeted a video of the encounter, branding the officer a ‘bully’ and branding his behaviour ‘atrocious’.
As the driver crouches down to scrub the sticker from the paintwork of the yellow Mini, the constable stands over him and jabs his finger at the slogan.
Mr Cook, the passenger, says: ‘He’s told me not to even say the word now because ladies may be present even though they’re not.
‘He is clearly very aggressive this guy, and I’ve called 999.
‘And he’s probably a Brexit person. This is absolutely shocking.

Mr Cook said that the officer claimed they were breaking a public order offence by baring the rude slogan.
The car was reportedly moved to Brentwood Services from the hard shoulder after Mr Cook called 999 over fears for his safety.
An Essex Police spokeswoman said: ‘We are trying to identify the officer from the video footage to establish the circumstances around what happened.
‘In the meantime, we would encourage the driver to get in touch with us.’
In November 1977, Nottingham Magistrates’ Court ruled ‘b***ocks’ was not an obscene word in the case of a record store manager who had been arrested for displaying the Sex Pistols’ debut album Never Mind The B***ocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols.
The Remain-backing campaign group evolved from the b***ocks to Brexit stickers which were slapped on activists and buildings during a wave of marches this summer.
