James Haskell is the fourth star to leave the I’m A Celebrity<\/a>… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle.<\/p>\n

The rugby pro, 34, got emotional when he was announced as the latest campmate to leave the show.<\/p>\n

He said in his eviction chat: ‘You know what, I got quite emotional. Jacqueline started crying, Ian had tears in his eyes, and I thought “there\u2019s no way I\u2019m going to well up here”, and I did. I discovered a deep dark set of emotions.’<\/p>\n

Out! James Haskell is the fourth star to leave the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

James lasted 18 days in the jungle, and followed Adele Roberts, Andrew Maxwell, and Cliff Parisi, who were all booted from the series previously.<\/p>\n

Despite not winning the show, James still achieved what he set out to do on the series, which was to challenge himself.<\/p>\n

He said: ‘I\u2019ve been playing rugby for the last 18 and a half years, and for once I had a break and I wanted to reset my life, and this was the perfect kind of platform to do it.<\/p>\n

‘I\u2019ve learned a lot about myself in terms of challenges and hardships, I can actually deal with quite well. Starving me, I don\u2019t think was a good experience, but I found also I quite enjoyed helping other people.<\/p>\n

Although James formed close friendships with the likes of football star Ian Wright whilst in the jungle, he would like to see actress Jacqueline Jossa crowned Queen of the Jungle during the final on Sunday.<\/p>\n

When asked who he\u2019d like to see win, he said: ‘I think Jacqueline. I think she came in here wanting to do this for herself, and I think she wanted to prove people wrong, and I think she\u2019s had a bit of a hard time.’ <\/p>\n

He said: ‘My body started to shut down. Caitlyn and I are like an old married couple, up and down the stairs all the time, burning calories, walking to trials, my legs… I couldn’t focus. I got very tired in the afternoons but I didn’t want to overly complain.’<\/p>\n

Chloe revealed her Royal pals Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall think her husband James was ‘absolutely hilarious’ on I’m A Celebrity on Monday’s edition of Lorraine.<\/p>\n

The TV personality, 32, told how Zara messages her all the time to tell her how great James was doing, with rugby stars James and Mike being longtime friends.<\/p>\n

Chloe said:  ‘They think the whole thing\u2019s absolutely hilarious. Z\u2019s been amazing, she messages me the whole time to check up on me. She\u2019s been great.<\/p>\n

‘They all just find it hilarious. They don\u2019t take it seriously at all. They\u2019ve been in really high pressured situations their whole careers\u2026 so when they watch it they really do just see it as hilarious entertainment and they\u2019re really enjoying it.’<\/p>\n

Chloe also spoke about James’ time in the jungle and said he is now in ‘a good place’ after previously bickering with some of his fellow campmates.<\/p>\n

She said: ‘He had a \u2018hangry\u2019 episode. But from what I\u2019ve seen he seems to have come back up again and he seems to be in a really good place.’<\/p>\n

Speaking of jungle evictees Adele Roberts and Andrew Maxwell Chloe added: ‘They\u2019ve told me that he\u2019s doing really well in camp and cheering everybody up and that they absolutely adore him, which makes me feel really good.’<\/p>\n

Chloe dismissed claims James has been a bully and said it was only natural to have bad days when you’re sleep deprived. <\/p>\n

She said: ‘I think he just had a really grumpy day and I think when you\u2019re sleep deprived and food deprived and you\u2019re surrounded by people you aren\u2019t necessarily friends with on the outside world, if you have a bad day, if you have a moody day you do kind of snap a bit. <\/p>\n

She added: ‘We\u2019re incredibly close and I love him dearly and I\u2019m so, so proud of him. Despite his \u2018hangry\u2019 moments, I actually think he\u2019s doing a fantastic job and I\u2019m really proud.’    <\/span><\/p>\n

It comes after Chloe defended the rugby star for his ‘snappiness’ after being involved in several rows on <\/span>I’m A Celebrity<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram ahead of Sunday night’s show, the fitness guru claimed her other half was being a ‘right old grump’, because he wasn’t getting the calories he needed. <\/p>\n

Chloe’s comments came hours before James baffled his campmates by admitting he refused to tell his wife his loved her when they were dating.  <\/p>\n

Roman Kemp posed the question of when to tell someone you are in love with them, which prompted James to say that Chloe had told him within three months of dating. <\/p>\n

Yet the England player refused to say the words himself, confessing: ‘I didn’t say it back to her for a long time because I really wanted to mean it.’<\/p>\n

As Roman quipped, ‘I bet that made her feel good,’ Kate then asked James how he reacted after Chloe had declared that she loved him. <\/p>\n

James recalled:  ‘I said “l adore you”. Combination of love and adore. <\/p>\n

‘Then one day we’d had an all-day drinking thing and she was so much fun and good with the boys that I just turned round and said “you are amazing and I love you” and I meant it and have done ever since.’ <\/p>\n

Proving her love for her other half was Chloe, as she continued to defend her husband after viewers slammed the former England rugby player for branding the other celebrities ‘a circus of stupidity’ in Saturday night’s episode.<\/p>\n

James also declared that he was ‘too intelligent and too switched on’ to discuss what he thought was a ‘simple’ question in the Dingo Dollar Challenge, in which the camp were playing to win a treat.<\/p>\n

The rugby player snapped at campmates Andy Whyment and Kate Garraway as they debated the answer, prompting Andrew Maxwell to joke the star was a ‘maniac’. <\/p>\n

Chloe, who is the daughter of TV’s Richard and Judy, posted on Instagram: ‘The poor guy is in a right old grump. <\/p>\n

‘His basal metabolic rate is around 2,500 calories [and] his total daily energy expenditure is around 4,000 calories so to go down to 800, maybe 1,200… is clearly taking its toll on him.<\/p>\n
