Inside the monster’s lair: Jeffrey Epstein pictured on his 75-acre estate dubbed ‘pedophile island’

2701

Chilling new images from inside Jeffrey Epstein’s luxury 75-acre estate, dubbed ‘pedophile island’, offer a direct insight into the murky world of the late sex offender and the shady goings-on on the privately owned Little Saint James.

In one of a series of disturbing and never before seen pictures, all provided by alleged victim Chauntae Davies, a seemingly disinterested Epstein chats on the phone, as a young blonde woman, thought to be be his assistant Sarah Kellen, massages his shoulders, smiling at the camera.

In another a grinning Ghislaine Maxwell – named by dozens of Epstein’s accusers as a co-conspirator or procurer of victims – sits at an opulent marble table, with a tray of food, surrounded by documents and letters.

And in perhaps the most alarming image of all, five young women, including accuser Davies, sit on a balcony in the sunshine with the idyllic backdrop of a Caribbean beach behind them.

But Davies, and others, says their time on the island was far from idyllic. In fact it was on Little Saint James, based off the coast of St. Thomas, where Davies, now 40, said Epstein raped her before bragging about his relationship with Prince Andrew. Davies said the disgraced financier became a ‘monster’ behind closed doors.

And it was here that the royal, forced to retire from royal duties after his disastrous Newsnight interview, has admitted to visiting, adding that Epstein might have cleaned up before his visits.

It was also on the island that Virginia Roberts said in sworn evidence to a Florida court that she and Andrew and around eight other young girls had sex together.  These claims were later struck from the record and are strenuously denied by the duke.

It is not known when exactly the pictures were taken or if they were all taken by Davies but Epstein bought the island in 1998 for $7.95 million and Davies says she escaped his clutches by 2005.

Epstein was first sentenced to 18 months in prison and registered as a sex offender in 2008. He was arrested again in July of this year, just days after Chauntae gave evidence to the FBI against him, before being found dead in his prison cell a month later.

Dress in a white shirt Epstein, who bought the high-security getaway in 1998, sits at a marble table with cream chairs. His assistant Kellen is dressed in a skimpy tank top and pants and she rests her hands on his shoulders.

The disgraced financier appears to be holding his glasses and had a sheet of paper in front of him. There is enough space, on what appears to be outside decking, for a second table behind the pair. Lamps line the stone walls. The white doors are closed with the shutters open.

He then is pictured in a later image, which appears to have been taken on the same day, this time wearing two pairs of glasses as he sifts through papers.

Maxwell, wearing a black tank top, looks directly at the camera and grins in one picture.

Ghislaine, the daughter of later media baron Robert Maxwell has been less forthcoming since the death of her former boyfriend, going completely under the radar. Although it is now claimed she is preparing to speak to the FBI about her connection to pedophile.

She appears to be sitting at the same, or a similar table, to that of Epstein as he received his personal massage from Kellen. The same large water jug is seen in front of him as was in front of Maxwell, who was said to have been a regular visitor to ‘pedophile island’.

An unidentified man standing in a white t-shirt and black shorts and on the phone, also appears in the image.

The startling picture of the five women could easily be mistaken for one taken on a girls holiday. The group are all dressed in tanks tops. Davies, wearing a blue top, white skirt and summer hat smiles as she sits on the balcony. But behind the picturesque setting lay a sinister culture of rape and assault, according to Davies.

Epstein, dressed all in black, walking boots and a black cap, leaning back on a clifftop balcony. The sex offender appear to have a wry smile and is alone in the image. One picture of the stunning surroundings appears to show the view from the balcony Epstein and Maxwell were pictured at. An uninterrupted view of the sea stretches out in front of the building.

A similarly picturesque image of Davies in a summer dress in front of blue skies and a sandy beach continues to hide the horrors of what was really happening on the island.

Epstein is said to have bought Little Saint James in 1998, importing 200 workers, building a stone mansion, two guest houses, a helipad and a bizarre gold-domed structure that resembles a temple.

Sarah Ransome, an alleged British victim of Epstein, claimed she was raped up to three times a day during months imprisoned there.

She says she was so determined to escape that she hatched a plan to swim the surrounding shark-infested waters. However she was spotted on the video cameras Epstein installed across the island and stopped by his cronies.

Chauntae said she fell into the pedophile’s clutches when she was a 21-year-old trainee massage therapist in Los Angeles and treated Ghislaine Maxwell at Beverly Hills’ Four Seasons Hotel.

Davies, who worked as Epstein’s masseuse and as an air hostess on his private plane the ‘Lolita Express’, alleged to The Sun on Sunday that she was later raped by the billionaire on the private island.

‘I was very aware of Jeffrey Epstein’s friendship with Prince Andrew and Fergie right away’, she said. ‘It was one of several bragging tactics he used to further induce his power and privilege. He bragged a lot. He bragged about how he’d lent money to the Duchess.’

She also called on the Prince to speak to the FBI. ‘There is no way you could have been a friend of Jeffrey’s and not know what was going on’, she said. ‘I don’t see how you could see somebody with another young girl all the time and there never being a conversation about it. It doesn’t add up.’

After being summoned from his bungalow to the main compound Davies said: 'I knew this late-night call on an island where I already felt isolated did not feel right. She led me to another, bigger private villa on the opposite side of the main house; Jeffrey and Ghislaine¿s villa.' She said Epstein undressed her despite her pleas to stop

Andrew has previously admitted visiting the island and was named as a passenger on Epstein’s jet, known as the Lolita Express for its orgies, in August 2001, for a trip from New York to New Mexico.

Prince Andrew has always denied any allegations of wrongdoing during his friendship with Epstein.

Ms Davies also described how she spent two weeks ‘vomiting myself to death’ in a hospital after the alleged attack.

‘He [Epstein] took me by the wrist. I was searching for words but all I could say was please stop, but that only seemed to excite him more,’ she told a New York courtroom the first time that she spoke publicly about the event.

She was was among dozens of women who spoke in court in Manhattan in August about how he abused them.

Davies claimed that the first time she met Epstein to give him a massage, he masturbated in front of her. She was horrified but went back to continue working for him, she said, partly because of the support she received from Ghislaine.

She said she was too frightened to report him or leave because, she claims, both he and Maxwell made it ‘clear’ how powerful he was.

Virginia Roberts claims she had sex with the duke in three of Epstein’s homes – his Manhattan mansion, his Palm Beach estate in Florida and on his private island in the US Virgin Islands. The Prince has admitted to visiting all three locations but denies all of the allegations against him.

Before the financier’s death, Maxwell was named in lawsuits as having facilitated alleged abuse. She has always denied wrongdoing and has never been arrested or charged.
