A farmer has refused a journalist’s request to put out his cigarette with a hilarious response.
Royce Bridges, a cattle drover from central Queensland, was asked by 7 News reporter Rachel Baxter if he could take a cigarette out of his mouth.
‘Mate I smoke. If they don’t like it, stuff them,’ he replied.

Viewers found the drover hilarious and one said, ‘This bloke is my spirit animal’
Another commented: ‘That is gold!’
Bridges was in the process of leading a heard of over 1000 cattle through Blackwattle, a town in central Queensland, as the 7News journalist was interviewing him about the drought in the state.
He walked more than 300,000 kilometers over the course of 11 months through the drought-stricken state in search of feed.
Bridges, along with with three other drovers, was leading a cattle drive through towns in central Queensland, the likes of which had not been seen for 30 years.
He said that people were friendly and welcoming to the heard of animals, ‘They all want to come and have a look, they’ve probably never seen it before.’
